Any genre is permitted, though contemporary pop is considered the backbone of the contest.
Yes. Entries must be suitable for a universal family audience and cannot contain political messages, commercial advertising, swearing, or inappropriate gestures.
The result is decided by a combination of mandatory audience voting and optional professional juries. If juries are used, there is a 50/50 split in power between the jury and the public.
Voting is conducted online during the live broadcast. Voters must typically vote for at least three different songs to prevent “fan club advantages”.
In the international Grand Final, you cannot vote for your own country, but in the National Selection Show, citizens vote for their own local winner.
You will receive a nation-specific trophy and represent your country in the Eurovision Song Contest Asia Grand Final.
Participants must produce various digital assets starting three weeks before the show, such as “get to know me” videos, song teasers, and “behind the scenes” diaries.
The music production is typically financed by the artist’s music label.
It is strongly advised to work with a label. If an artist is not signed, they will be assigned to a label determined by Voxovation.
Labels must deliver a professionally produced finished mix and audio stems for the live broadcast by a set deadline.
