Who can register? 

Any Bangladeshi registered company operating in Bangladesh, aged 18 years or above as of June 01, 2025, and of sound health and mind can register for Shark Tank Bangladesh. No person can participate on behalf of another person. A contestant shall enter the show in accordance with the Rules and Regulations. You will need to submit the requisite proof of a government-issued identity. 

Note: If you are younger than 18 years of age i.e. a minor, please refer to Q7 in the FAQs. 

When will the registrations open and what is the deadline to submit the registration form?

Registrations will be open from January 12, 2025 onwards. Please note, the Bongo has the right to change the timelines as per its convenience. The application form will be open for 30 days subject to the quality of applications received. 

How can I access the registration form for Shark Tank Bangladesh Season 2? 

Visit https://apply.bongobd.com/ and click on the Apply Now button for Shark Tank Bangladesh to access the application form.  Please note that we will be able to contact you only if the mobile number you shared is registered with a service provider in Bangladesh. All communication related to the show will be done on this number. Please ensure that the number is always active and accessible.

What is the next step in the selection process? 

The entire audition process is divided into 3 phases –
Phase 01 – In the first phase of the audition, we ask for basic information about you and your business. This phase gives us a glimpse of what your product/business idea is all about. If you are selected in this phase, you move on to the second phase of the audition.
Phase 02 – In the second phase of the audition, we get to know more about you and your business in detail. If you are shortlisted in this phase, you move on to the third & final phase of the audition. Please note, if you are filling out the forms on behalf of someone, ensure you mention their details only.
Phase 03 – In the third phase of the audition, you will be called to a certain city by our team for an in-person interview, where our team will assess you and your business. If you are shortlisted in this phase, you will be invited to the studio shoot in Dhaka where you will get the opportunity to pitch your business directly to the Sharks. Please note that your selection for the next phase of the audition is not immediate. However, at every stage, our team will notify you via email and/ or registered number in case you are selected for the next phase. 

How will I know that I am selected? 

Bongo will go through the forms in detail and shortlist participants. If you are selected for the next round, you will receive a formal communication from the company via the contact details (email ID/phone number) shared by you. Also, note that sometimes your selection email may drop into the “spam/trash” section of the mailbox. Therefore, we request you to keep checking your “spam/trash” folder as well. Please watch out for emails and/or text messages from Bongo. 

Do I need to have a running/functional business to apply for Shark Tank Bangladesh Season 2? 

No, you do not. You can have an idea and have at least a prototype developed in order to apply.  Existing operational businesses can also apply for those who are looking to grow their existing products or services to Shark Tank Bangladesh. If you have a company registered with RJSC in Bangladesh with a proper trade license, VAT, and tax identification number and you have a deal in the show, it enables you to work with the Sharks in the post-investment phase faster. Feel free to apply even if you haven’t registered officially as of yet.

I am below 18 years but I have a business idea I wish to submit, how can I do so? 

You cannot directly apply to the show. However, if your parent(s)/guardian(s) are agreeable, they can submit the business idea in their names on your behalf. If selected, the parent(s)/guardian(s) will also have to accompany you for the auditions and shoot. In the case of a minor registrant, the parent and/or the legal guardian of the minor needs to fill the form on behalf of the minor and provide their details (Full name, NID no., proof of relationship with the minor) in the additional information tab. Please note, that the parent and/or the legal guardian filling the form will have to submit their details and respective documents for verification, failing which the minor registrant may be disqualified. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional information on rules governing the parent and/or the legal guardian registering on behalf of a minor and their participation in the show. 

If I have multiple business ideas to submit, can I apply multiple times? 

One mobile number can be used to fill out a single application form only. If you have multiple business ideas, you can submit them through different mobile numbers registered in your name. 

Do I have to fill in everything mentioned in the form? 

You have to fill in all the mandatory fields (*) mentioned in the form, without which you will not be able to submit the form. Apart from that, the more information you give us the better we get to know you and evaluate your form. 

I have registered with a particular number but that number is not active anymore. Do I have to register again with a new number? 

Yes. You need to re-register with the new mobile number. All communication related to the show will be done on this number. Please ensure that the number is always active and accessible. 

In case, I have selected the language as English but I want to fill the form in Bangla, what do I do? 

Select your desired language from the language selection option on the right side of the top menu bar of our website. Once the language is selected, you have to continue with the selected language. Hence, we request you to be careful while selecting the language for filling the form.

I have made some errors in the form but I have accidentally submitted it. How do I rectify this? 

Option A – The best solution would be to re-apply with a new mobile number (a number can be used once only). Option B – You can also write to us at sharktank@bongobd.com. We will try to address your query to the best of our abilities, but this is not a guaranteed method. 

I have completed my form, but I am unable to progress ahead/submit the form. What is the reason? 

Each page of the form has certain mandatory fields (*). Make sure that all those fields are filled with relevant information to submit the form. Also, ensure you are adhering to the word limit (if specified). 

What documents will I be required to submit during the application process? 

During the different phases of the audition, you will be required to submit the following documents & videos as instructed – For Phase 01 ● Images of the product, if any ● Safety testing certificate (only valid for prototype and trading stage) For Phase 02 ● Prototype/product demonstration video (only valid for prototype and trading stage) ● Pitch video ● Written business plan (if you have any) ● Proofs of identity required during the KYC verification For later stages ● Company registration documents if you have ● Documents regarding financing (from investors, banks,  etc.) if you have ● Company financial documents (such as income tax return, trade license etc.) if you have ● Any trademark and intellectual property certificates if you have. These documents are options. These above-mentioned documents must be in Bangla or English only. You will be informed in case we need any additional documents based on the information filled out in the form and mentioned in your in-person interview. Also note, that submission of the aforementioned documents does not imply that you have been selected for further participation. 

Will the details and documents that we submit remain confidential? 

The details shared by you will be used by Bongo and Sharks to evaluate your business for the show. The details shared will be confidential and shall not be shared with any third party.

I have received a call/message/email informing me that I have been selected for Shark Tank Bangladesh Season 2, is it valid? 

If selected for the next round, you will get a formal communication from Bongo as described in the Terms and Conditions. There is no other way of participating in Shark Tank Bangladesh. 

Are there any application fees or expenses involved on my part while applying for Shark Tank Bangladesh? 

There is no application fee involved for applying to Shark Tank Bangladesh Season 2. The entire process of application is free of cost. Please note you will need an internet connection to apply.  Any person claiming that he/she can help get you on the show for consideration is defrauding you. Please contact your local police and report the said person. 

In case, I am selected for the in-person audition, who pays for my travel and boarding? 

If you are selected for the in-person audition round then, you will need to bear all travel, accommodation and all other expenses in relation to the participation on your own. Only the “Auditionee” will be permitted to enter the audition venue upon submission of the required documents and photographs. 

Where will the auditions take place? 

Our team will get in touch with you duly notifying you of your audition city. 

What if I want to change my audition city from the options mentioned in the form? 

Once you get a call from us regarding the audition city, you can mention your change request. Also, you can write to us at sharktank@bongobd.com.
